Quality control (QC) is the step where your agent inspects an item after it arrives at the warehouse and before it ships to you. It is your one chance to catch defects while the product is still in China, where returns and swaps are cheap and fast. MyCNBox has a distinctive QC standard, and understanding it will make you a much sharper buyer.
What MyCNBox's standard QC includes
For a normal order, MyCNBox provides 4 photos plus an approximately 15-second QC video

Why the video matters so much
A photo can hide a lot. It cannot show how a sneaker sole flexes, whether a zipper actually runs smoothly, how a hoodie's fabric drapes and moves, or whether a hinge or clasp feels loose. A roughly 15-second video answers those questions. For footwear and bags especially, the video often reveals issues, glue lines, stiff joints, uneven flex, that four still images would never expose.
How to read your QC
Go through a simple checklist every time:

- Stitching:

If anything looks off, tell MyCNBox before you approve shipping. Sorting it out while the item is in the warehouse is straightforward; sorting it out after international transit usually is not.

QC for bulk orders
If you place a large or bulk order, MyCNBox defaults to randomly inspecting 1 item
Does QC cost extra?
No. MyCNBox runs a permanent zero-service-fee model, and that explicitly includes no inspection fee. The standard photos-plus-video QC is part of the normal flow, not an add-on. You pay only the item price plus international shipping.
Timing: QC happens before shipping
It is worth being clear about where QC sits in the order flow. MyCNBox buys your item, receives it into the warehouse, and only then produces the photos and video. Nothing ships until you have seen that QC and approved it. Because you also have 90 days of free storage, there is no pressure to rush the review, take your time, look closely, and ask questions while the item is still sitting safely in China. If a replacement is needed, the seller is a domestic parcel away rather than an international return.
Turning QC into better buying
Over time, your QC images become a personal database. Save the photos and videos from good orders so you can compare sellers and spot which listings consistently deliver. When you browse the categoriesW2Cspreadsheetsearch
Because inspection options and any extra services can be updated, always confirm the current details on the official site before you rely on them for an important order.
